Scam recording from my visa card Co advising 2 fraud transactions for big amts, called my card Co from no on bk of my card and no transactions have taken place, be careful all especially the elderly, try use a credit card at all times then transfer from Yr debit card to pay it, never take out he house Yr debit card, as bank don't always reimburse u for fraud, the credit card Co will if you have shown you took care reporting any suspicious activity and were careful with Yr details online. Fraud A friend of mine had money disappearing from her bank account, she's Burmese and her English isn't so good so I looked into it for her. Turns out it's a company called Florist-world.com that took 2 euro from her account then took 24 euro every 2 weeks. I finally found emails from them in her spam folder, they'd somehow managed to get hold of her debit card number and were taking 24 Euro every 2 weeks, the last email said that amount was increasing to 44 Euro. I contacted them on her behalf and asked

SCAM This number called me today claiming to be from the carphone warehouse, i told them i didn't have an account with them they proceeded to say they knew and offered me a 'good deal' i said i was happy with my supplier! I was them shouted at by the caller telling me not to ring them again, i said i didn't, you rang me then the caller became abusive telling me not to answer the phone to them again!!! Fraud Scam. Vodafone support website has a page on which to verify that a number is calling from Vodafone. This is not a Vodafone number. Here's the information I could get from them before they hung up. The caller claimed to be from Vodafone promotional dept offering a new phone upgrade and 2 year contract. Caller was inconsistent in what they said. Once saying a verification email would arrive in 30 minutes then saying 1 hour. They switched for no reason between talking about iphone and Samsung phones.

SCAM SPAM Fraud Got a call on 21/08/2023 at 11:51 from this number. A woman was trying to tell me i have some offer from three. When i asked her if she is a scammer as i am not with three, she put down the phone instantly. When i call back the number, it just beeps two times and go off. They are scammers for sure! Be aware!

AMAZON SCAM

Fraud This number called the landline today stating there had been suspicious activity on my bank account totally over £1000. It asked me to click 1 to cancel these transactions or 2 to speak to an adviser. I am aware my bank will not call me with an automated message of such nature - please be aware !!

Calling on personal cell number about 'IT services' and domains I have registered - through my business. Challenged them on ignoring TPS, and fact that they have obtained data illegally since all domain registration detail is now 'redacted' - caller hung up. Sounded like a VOIP line, big call centre by the level of noise in the background and most likely Indian sub-continent from accent of caller.

Today, someone called my number and claimed that they needed to repair my house. When I told them that they were a scammer, they immediately disconnected. The person sounded like they were from India and struggled with English.

SCAM Second call in as many minutes all from Blackburn area telephone numbers. Supposedly from our Bank- 2 transactions this morning - one from Amazon for £300 and another for £1100 for International Money transfer - suspicious- if you didn’t authorise these press 1 to speak to someone- didn’t- now blocked.

Trying to get details about a accident I was involved in (I wasn't involved in one) so that they could make fake personal injury claims - DODGY!

Scammer/Junk: Said he was from EE and said they had a 35% discount, which is odd because I had just upgraded with EE. Then asked me how much I paid on my last bill, to which I said 'well if you are EE you should know' - Upon which he got sheepish and hung up. Caller ID says it is from Bodmin. This is not someone from EE yet are touting themselves as if they are, as such this is fraud.
