Missed call so rang back to find out what the call was all about. Had some rude Asian man answer the phone who told me my loan application had been APPROVED......Interesting because I hadn't made one with 'Now Loan' I proceeded to ask questions...this irritated the idiot on the phone who SHOUTED at me! Fraud, SCAM, PHISHING 07440008657 claims to be from HMRC in an automated american accent. I pressed 1 to find out more and spoke to a human (with a fake American accent) who immediately asked for my name and postcode. They hung up when I politely said no.

Fraud. Got a call I didn't answer. They left a voice mail it wasn't a person it sounded like a generic message. It said there was something wrong with my financial account and then said I'll be arrested ( they spelt out the word arrested) I have 2 phones the one they rang is the one I use for fam/ friends it's not the one attached to any of my bank account/ online shopping. There is absolutely no reason any business should have that number.

Very odd. Lady said she was doing research on behalf of a US charity into healthcare and no personal data would be taken. Asked how she got my number and she said it was 'randomly generated' by a computer. Very odd and certainly not into giving my views on our amazing NHS to a country that wants to bloody buy it off us!!

Crypto trading scammers

Automated female voice claiming to be from Visa about two payment of ca. £600 and £1000. I rang off, and then used 14713 to call it back repeatedly - which resulted in it ringing off at once each time. I did not use my keypad to send them any information in the initial call. MUST BE PHISHING????

Fraudulent message about coming in contact with someone with Covid 19. I clicked on the link, they provided and saw it looked like an NHS website. Then I went to click on the NHS logo (assuming it would take me to the homepage), however, it came up with a 404 code showing this page didn’t exist. This is a SCAM. It’s a fabricated message. Don’t fill out any details they ask for!

Said they were BT, I had too many people using my IP. The account name was wrong. They said they could block them from their server, but it would be better from my PC. After my challenges they sent a text message with a verification code. It said to change my password. I did. Had one previously, real BT support said it was a scam. Assumed this identical call was too. Only the false account name was a clue, otherwise how can you tell?
