Called by this no it was someone called Marcus Taylor he said he was from fraud squad in London I called them and they said he did not work there and had serval calls about him and a John Edwards they advised to block the number

SCAM Stupid text message saying “Hi mum, call me on my new number - insert phone number- I’m sending you a message from my friend’s phone because I broke mine..their battery is running out” What it is about the fact that the friends battery is running out when the “child” has sent you a new number to call would add to the sense of urgency I have no idea. These people want you to think they are from Visa and say that a large amount of money has been removed from your bank account (they don’t mention either your name or the name of your bank or any bank) unless you contact them immediately. It is a recorded message but it is a scam. And they are persistent. This is the third day in a row around about the same time each morning. It is clumsy but people may be taken in.

Fraud - I think? This number rang my home landline (I couldn't reach it, I'm disabled). - I did 1471 + 3 - the number was dead. Google didn't find it (but found a few close variations from Southern American countries, not anyone I know then, (we're in UK). This number doesn't ring when dialed on landline or my mobile, (but rang me a good 1/2 minutes)? I checked & checked it again. - How's it possible? - Obviously some kind of "con", "scam" ?!

Scam, pretended to be from VISA credit card company.

Another site shows calls started from this number on 5th March 2023 & users have searched this number several hundred times by 14:00 hrs on 6th March !!!! Rang off before I could answer!!?? An experience shared by many others checking this Robocall/Scam Call Centre number.
