Claiming to be from OPUS ENERGY - Had all company details and bottom line of our supply number and wanted us to give the top line of supply number to confirm. Background sounded dodgy so I gave him the wrong one and he confirmed it was correct. He messed up when he asked for the GAS supply number - we are an all electric building. Received at a call at 11:38am on 11/01/21 stating my correct name and claiming they have funds for a car accident I was in.
SCAM - from the fraud squad, national crime agency. my national insurance number is being used to launder money. prompted to press 1 to speak to an agency officer. just hung up and left.

Apparently this is the Energy Advice Team and I thought this company were just cold calling me. I soon realised that they were just responding to my application regarding an air source heat pump and solar pv panels on either Facebook or Instagram. They are actually a very friendly and knowledgeable company.
This is a Santander number. In my case, I made a complaint, so their complaints department called me from this number.

Sounded like Indian call centre but number was for Weybridge area! Tried tried to sell me a number blocking service; most likely a scam. They gave up eventually.
