This is a fake number used by scammers to try to get personal information about you. They sound very official and scary, suggesting legal action against you. I inadvertently provided them with my name, National Insurance number and name of bank before I realised that it was a phishing attempt. The caller spoke with a slightly American accent. I tried to call the number back, but it's invalid.

It urges you to press 1 to have further details about the case before they issue an arrest warrant. Block number and report. It is so funny how the UK govt allows number spoofing and can not get to know who uses these numbers. It is no brainer that o2 could identify who uses this spoofed numbers. SPAM. Recording from someone with an American accent, saying they are from Amazon and need to take £79.99 from my bank account.

SCAM: automated female voice, claiming to be 'Bank Security' (but Not which bank) The grammar was a bit off. Message said two payments had been taken from 'your card this morning' - one to Amazon for £200 I think, the other was £700 cash drawn from my card but didn't actually specify WHICH card it was.- Press 1 to authorise payments, or 2 to speak to someone. Complete bunkum. Call supposedly from Liverpool. Probably a spoofed number.

Received 4 calls on my cell in Benelux within 2 minutes; this is part of a practise that started on 13/2: since then I received about 60 odd calls from similar +44 numbers. The first one or 2 I picked up and people claim I registered with credit card for online consultancy, related to financial investments. After that I categorically block all these calls. I can produce a list of these numbers
