This number called me and said they were calling about an accident I had within the last 3 years. I asked her what accident would that be? She said you tell me! I said no you seem to know so much about me you tell me. She was so rude. She said don t give me that all you had to say was yes or no. SCAM - automated call saying I was under investigation by HMRC and there was a warrant for my arrest for non payment of taxes. Wanted me to press 1, which I didn't - can't be 100% sure but I expect they were after personal/bank details, in any case it's not a legitimate call.
Indian guy called up claiming I ve had an accident in the last 3 years, I advised the guy no I haven t had an accident, line went silent for a moment. He then asked if I can do him a favour? Which was to lend him money as he is from Pakistan and has no money, I immediately put the phone down.

Leaves a voicemail if you don't answer. Voicemail seems to be in mandarin.
saying they are from talktalk and they have "detected problems with my router". Every time they ring the number changes slightly so you can t tell they ve rung before. I am heartily fed up with these people. Each time I report the scam number to talktalk on their website. Don t know if it does any good but its worth a try.

I have called applianceserve on 08004118899. I said I had asked for a refund of the £175 I had paid for my washing machine to cover the next 3 years following the expiry of the manufacturer s guarantee but had not received any response. Having seen comments on the internet saying it was a scam, I said if the company is genuine then please can you arrange a refund. She looked up my details and said someone will call me tomorrow in office hours. She sounded pleasant - so - watch this space!!
