This is the HP support number. I had been speaking to them about an issue with my HP laptop, so they did have a legitimate reason to call me a few days ago, but the case had been closed so I chose not to take this call.

Company called something generic-sounding like "UK Data" (can t remember the exact name) asked to speak to my husband saying he may be eligible for compensation "from his earlier work in industry". When I said I knew he has never worked "in industry" and asked what job they were referring to, he got quite arsey and aggressive. Called me today, left a message, a foreign accent that could?ve been computer generated. James Anderson from HMRC said if I don?t call back they will take matters further! I don?t have any issues with HMRC, I don?t pay tax due to working part time and don?t claim benefits so know this is not a genuine call!! Don?t be fooled! The number comes up as Glasgow!

total time wasters hung up when i asked for info.. call them for a laugh and put 141 infront of your dialing number. then pretned to be Chris Earle from Verastar! they get well annoyed.. made me laugh!
