These days it is well worth having caller display on a land line - mobiles have it anyway. So for all these callers, 0845-, unavailable, withheld, etc., just lift the receiver and drop it back immediately, or, on a mobile, answer the call and immediately shut it down. This stops answerphone message.

It s one of those ,, have you been in an accident? ,,scams..

You may be a customer without knowing. I m going to buck the trend here... yes it s D&G, and they had a valid reason to call me. I m sure they probably cold-call too but for me I am a customer already.. and many of you may be too without knowing. My 2 year manufacturer s warranty was 1y manufacturer + 1y exended.. that 1y extended part was supplied by D&G. This is a Santander number. In my case, I made a complaint, so their complaints department called me from this number.
