This number sent me a scam text claiming to be Santander

Scammers! Apparently, this was a call from the TPS! Asking me to verify who I pay my bills to so they can block nuisance calls. Hahahaha!

said it was from the bank which was a scam

This number relates to an investment scam called GFA capital. They get you to deposit a small amount of money ($275) and they claim they invest it in crypto and produce huge results. In 5 days my $275 grew to $75000. WOW Then one of their senior investment managers calls you and shows you a bitcoin opportunity, invest $18000 and they will produce a $10000 return in 5 days. BULLSHIT. I requested a withdrawal from my pot and was told that I had to pay £12000 tax to release the funds. Dangerous scam

Became agressive when challanged regarding legitimacy of call. Then received caller-withheld harrasment & time wasting calls a few minutes after putting the phone down with the 'caller' attempting to change the sound of their voice

This is a cold caller first thing in the morning, asking what i had in my loft. Denied being a cold caller or nuisance caller. Saying i would benefit from this call. Which i understand to be against the law to do un the UK. I demanded to know where she got my details from. She said it was from the.. P.. Somethinf data base company.. So probabky paid for it.... This phone number rang me this morning on my house phone Asian person ask me question but I could not hear properly as I am deaf and very breathless as I've just not long had a heart attack as I was on the phone my son came in a took the phone out of my hand the person on the phone said he will be turning my Internet off, my son said he told him he won't be turning my dad's Internet off and your a con merchant and put the phone down

Didn't answer call due to the number. No introduction just talking in the background as they did not know it had gone to answerphone. Not a European language being spoken but talked about 11 thousand and laughing. Possibly Indian. SPAM

A recorded message by fake computer woman purporting to be from UK HM Customs and Revenue for not paying my tax. Its a scam as I don't owe any tax. I PAYE and have a very simple life. UK revenue don't call anyone in this way. The speaker clearly did not know me nor my location. Slight American accent. I assume if had bothered to waste my time, that they would have wanted me to call a premium rate number to sort it out or to pay them online. DON'T pay anything, don't worry its FAKE.

The guy introduced himself Peter Jones calling from Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd. trying to sell personal loan. it was suspicious. checked with FCA, I've been told that they are impersonating businesses and personal names. Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd is a legitimate company and they are only mortgage broker not selling or offering personal loans. beware this landline number is a scam. personal loan only offered by banks directly.

Message arrived over WhatsApp - I guess it's now the platform of choice for scammers, as bulk SMS costs money? Suspicious "hi, hope you are doing well" received, and nothing else. I'd suggest do not reply, not even to ask "who is this?", as it's likely a scam. If it was somebody I knew, I'd expect them to use my name and/or identify themselves if they can see we haven't communicated before.
