Claimed they got my number from a prize giving website I may have visited ages ago. It s a work number I don t give out. They are attempting to sell a service reclaiming PPI for loans/credit cards.

This number keeps ringing me I do not answer un know numbers.Cannot find out who they are under data protection (A Joke ) why should I not have the right to find out who is using my phone number to ring me ?

Dodgy sounding robot voice threating to arrest me for tax fraud if i didn't press 1. Hung up. suspected scam

Had a call from this number today, sounded foreign, told me my address and post code then said I have a question for you and some seconds later hung up.

Claim to be Sky following up on new installation. But will not discuss anything unless you tell them the last digits of bank account, full address and password or memorable information (in full - not just selected characters). Clear from other sites this is a scam - but how did they get new Sky customer information?

Bizarrely was connected to call from family abroad, displaying this number. Cant fathom this at all

This number has been calling me relentlessly again and again. No messages left. I don t return unfamiliar numbers.

Barclays calling me post successful packaged bank account claim to check if I wanted to keep the package or not. Did not call the number back, instead called Barclays on a website published number to verify it before opening up any discussion, Never give out details to people on incoming calls from numbers you simply don t know are 100% genuine.

This message stated that it was from Royal Mail asking me to pay shipping charges on a package. No details of who sent the package.

Interrupted our dinner at 1815. Very difficult to understand accent. Something about accident bureau. Breaking law as line TPS registered. Terminated call.

They called my number asking for me by a name I haven t gone by for nearly 5 years, so I am assuming that somewhere someone / some company, has sold on their client list. I said she wasn t available and could I take a message, the scouse guy gave Chase Alexander as the company name. The same company that pretty much harassed me last year on various different landline and mobile numbers. Each time i just said I didn t know the person they called for etc.

Asked to confirm details of our free listing which is fine, then starts asking questions how many phone lines, what provider etc, so yet again another cold call probably trying to flog telephone services while pretending to be something else

I have had three calls from fictitious numbers being used by these criminals in one day. They are easily identified by crackling noises and indistinct speech. I said nothing. They quickly rang off. If I had let them they would have tried to get access to my computer.

I have today insisted on speaking with a supervisor and informed them that I will treat any further calls from their number as nuisance and causing harm! Informed them that I will sue for harm should I ever receive a call again! Informed the supervisor - who informed me that they were recording the conversation - that was good as I would be relying upon that as part of my evidence should they ever call me again. Now too wait and see if they do remove my number
