OH received a call on their mobile from this number 2 days ago. I Googled then and found it was a scam. Today I have received a call from the same number on my mobile, which is a consecutive number to the OH s mobile number. No way I would call an 0843 number for a service I wanted never mind for one I don t know about.

Amazon automated call asking if I am available for a delivery tomorrow. Said yes as I am expecting one but I have ordered countless things from Amazon before and have never been called and asked if I am alright. SCAM saying HMRC have a tax fraud case against you. Very loud threatening automated message telling you you will be arrested soon if you don't press 1 to call them. Mobile number locator shows as being near industrial site off Mitton Road, Whalley near Blackburn. The intent is to scare vulnerable/older people into making contact, so as to gain access to their PC via remote access. HMRC are aware of this type of scam but I informed them anyway.
