If you see this number, it s an IP phone POP (point of presence) for an Indian based call centre (might have misspelled that...I think there s a c in con artists....?) that has several web portals (see below), all purporting to be international or regional employment agencies. I received the number 01223933956 this morning. Claimed to be a Sean with a very heavy Indian sub-continent accent, from BT Outreach claiming there were problems with my internet. I engaged with him, to spin him along so he would have less time with more vulnerable people but when he realised what I was doing he became very abusive.

SCAM - fake text to say O2 Bill payment hasn’t gone through and to click through to a link.
Rang me twice. When I picked up they said it was from Curry’s PC world, saying they had a promotions for phones and asked what phone I was using now. I said I wasn’t interested, and they hung up without saying anything else. It was quite hard to hear as their environment was loud, sounded kind of like a call centre in India. I’m not a Curry’s shopper so I doubt the legitimacy of this, probably a scam.
