CALLS FROM COMPANY CLAIMING TO ACT KN BEHALF OF O2. TRYING TO GET ME TO UPGRADE. I HAVE AN ISSUE WITH O2 GIVING OUT MY CONTRACT DETAILS TO OTHERS. DESPITE TELLING THIS FIRM I DO NOT WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM THEY CONTINUE CALLING. THEY JUST HANG UP IF I COMPLAIN ABOUT THEIR HARASSMENT. I Believe this is a scam call 01985216376 - I had a call from this number from a person with an Indian accent calling himself Barry. He said he was calling from open reach regarding our internet line, in the background it sounded like an office environment. I called the number back and got an English speaking gentleman called Richard and no office sounds in the background and he was not open reach. They may be tapping in to UK numbers to catch people out. My internet is working Fine by the way.

Answering this number gives rise to a recorded message threatening legal action and arrest for tax evasion, and an option to press a number for further action. I rang off, but this looks like a dangerous phishing call that is after personal details (banking details). As it comes from a Westminster landline it should be easy to trace and shut down. It should be investigated by by the police.
