Short call asking if my washing machine was more than one year old.
Received a call from this number with an electronic voice recording claiming that our BT line was to be disconnected. We are NOT with BT! . This is a scam and a fraud. It was also at 8:30 in the morning when not everyone would be up. I do note that googling this number does seem to produce a former genuine use for it, but i double-checked the number. This was a scammer., There is no question about it.

She said her name was Sarah and claimed she had pressed the wrong number in her list of contacts. The number they called is for an organisation with thousands of employees and the number they called is not for any individual.
