Claimed they from smart insurance & company changed from original. They knew lots of info about insurance. Asked for acc details, put phone down and immediately rang my appliance insurance company and they said they havent been taken over by smart insurance. I felt relieved that i hadnt given out my bank details but its shocking how lnowledgeable they were and the information they currency had on it. Blocked immediately. Pls beware and be careful.

Interestingly, RF President Putin was reported to be visting Dagestan [where this phone number originates?] yesterday.
This was the private number of Matthew Smith, until its deactivation from inactivity in 2017. It was originally carried by the UK network, Orange, until that network was folded into EE, along with all other Orange numbers. First being activated in 2001, this number was attached to a Philips Saavy mobile phone for the duration of its activity. Automated voice call from this number on Tues 27th June regarding a "transfer from my account in the sum of £1000+ and a transaction to Amazon in the sum of £300+" and I was invited to press button 1 to authorise both transactions which I obviously did not do. There was no description of which "account" involved in either the transfer or the Amazon transaction. Checking all accounts confirms NO cash transfer and NO transaction with Amazon.
