Full handset displayed number 000918045705737. Claimed my debit card had been hacked and debited £600. Provided options 1 or 2 to pursue further. I rang off and checked bank account. No sign of transaction. Scam till proved otherwise.

This person claimed to be my child who had smashed their phone and wanted me to WhatsApp this number, which I didn’t do. They said they had called from a friend’s phone 07599569709 which was about to die. This is terrible preying on parents. I don’t know what would have happened if I clicked on the number. Hope this helps others

SCAM - clearly someone trying to get info about bank details. Rang pretending to be from my bank - starts with an automated message stating a large amount of money has been requested from account & if not authorised, press 1. Person then answers but does not know name/details etc & tries to get you to give details. Be really careful with this number - clearly fraudsters/scammers.

SCAM call. Automated message, no introduction just I have authorised a money transfer and spent £400 on Amazon which I had not. Wanted me to press 1 to ok 2 to dispute or 3 to speak to an advisor. I hung up as it's an obvious scam. Be careful as all these ways of getting your details are sometimes convincing. Not today though !!!

Pretending to be BT Business Team; when I said that BT should be aware that I'm registered with the TPS (Telephone Preference Service) she then said she was with BT Openreach and reviewing my services. Completely bulsh*tting.

Said was from EE PROMOTIONAL team. Hung up as EE CALL from their contact centres and appear as an 03 number and not a domestic landline number. Caller was indian from their accent and dialect. Likely using a voip set up . Do not give details and hang up.

SCAM - fake HMRC lawsuit threat. If you're worried, remember to always call back on official numbes, such as those found on www.gov.uk for HMRC. Do not return calls to other numbers.

Fraud: Bank scam. Suggests they are from your bank (but they don't tell you which one because they don't know) Informs you by automated call that large transfers have been made out of your account (which is rubbish). They hope you will be daft enough to talk to them so they can obtain your bank details. Why the Police and Telephone companies still allow these fraudsters to operate it beyond me.

A Asian guy called saying I have been awarded a 30% discount for being a loyal customer O2 customer. i Left O2 over a couple of years ago, so I checked the number out online while he was talking and the number was listed as a scam call, so knew it was a scam. He said he was going to pass me to customer service. I then spoke to the next Asian guy who said he would send me a message and to except it (phone malware). Fraud SCAM Cold call. Indian voice asks you to give long card number as some payment at some time "did not go through". I remember no such occasion with an Indian agent, and if this does happen with any other, they immediately check and enter the card number again and it does go through. I said I can't just give my card number to an unknown caller for an unknown transaction, and the agent said he would get their lawyers to deal with me. I have blocked the number.

SCAM Asian sounding guy called "Charles Williams" (yeah right!) claiming to be from Virgin Media calling about downloaded malware slowing down my internet, he wanted to show me how to fix it ,told him where to go.

Fraud Automated voice tells me I've got a suspect payment for £900 about to be cleared from my visa card. This is a clinic, we don't have a visa card. It asks you to press 1 immediately. Please don't, it'll encourage them.

My Mum got scammed with a company called World IT pro saying they worked with Microsoft. They actually remote installed remote tracking software so they could see all her computer activity and charged her £300 for 'five years protection' - I called and complained and said I thought it was a scam and they refunded it (or it looks like they have - the money hasn't come back into the bank yet). They refunded my mum on the basis of what I said - did not get her authority to talk to me - SCAM

This number does not exist if you call it back. Forign call centre, claiming to be Carphone about phone contracts.

Phoned my landline on 20 Jan. 2023 pertaining to be from Amazon Prime and stating that they had taken £94 from my bank account. I was offered a number of options to query this but hung up as it was obviously a hoax call. Amazon Prime would not contact in this way. They tried again on 21 Jan., this time from a different number 01216834924.

I'm getting pretty sick of calls from this number! I've blocked it twice now!
