I have had this number calling a few times now and im not interested in their sales tactics
I called back and it went to a D2MS answer machine. D2MS work as callers for many companies including Butterbox so I am unaware if this was a scam call or not.

Indian scammer called saying there have been charges of over £1500 on a debit card that I do not have, waisted 50 mins of my time playing along, when I told him I have over £235,000 in a saving account plus another £53,000 in other accounts he gave me this number to call, I said I will call them in a hour as I have a Doctors appointment.
A 'Maria Wilson' from Appliance Aid Ltd called my elderly mum just now, saying she hadn't paid £149 and that she now owed £400. All a scam, beware!!!

SCAM Someone with an Indian accent called stating they were calling from Microsoft Windows about hackers using my email. They put me through to a technician and they started getting a bit angry with me as I could not understand what they were saying because of their accent. They told me that hackers were using my computer and that I was not to use my computer and to take it down to their offices in Reading!
Spoofed number purported to be from "Amazon Prime" about a subscription renewal (it's not due), so obviously a scam with a request to "press 1 to discuss". No way. Number blocked.

Safe number noticed this number once every month on my telephone bill with a monthly charge of 14p. Turns out it is an automatic test call from PPP Taking Care alarm which we have for elderly mother. Called them to ask why we are being charged as we pay a quarterly handling charge. They very kindly switched this to a freephone number so no more charges.

They tell you different excuses for their call like you had a medical appointment and now qualify for a few pendant with a huge one off service fee on over £150 that y they then say is for 12 months service which isn't a one off payment. They all for your card or direct debit details and when you tell them you think it's a scam they hang up on you.

Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. My second call this morning from an 01257 number - different ones - both claiming to be a banking service who have detected suspicious activity on my account. They are both automated messages with the same female voice and both claim withdrawals from my (unspecified) account from the same places (Amazon and overseas) but quote different amounts. 01257 is my local dial code, which I suspect is meant to lend credibility to the call. Caller asked me if I remember the car accident I’d had? Well, unless I’m concussed and / or lost my memory as a result of it … then no, I can’t remember it due to not actually having an accident. An Asian (oriental) sounding voice speaking barely understandable pigeon English.
