silent phone call.. knew it was scammers. getting sick and tired of getting scam calls and nothing done about it. !! by telephone regulators

just had a call from this number, all she said wax hello hello then put the phone down and this was at 23.20!!!

Dummy number - "invalid number" on callback.

This scammer (from an Indian call centre by the sounds of it) keeps bombarding me with unsolicited offers of a "discomfort payment" following a car accident. Because I will have nothing to do with such fraud they keep calling me back. I am on TPS.

This was a call from o2 sales, trying to sell discounted SIM only mobile phone contracts after I ordered a free PAYG SIM card from their website.

Called back, using the phone s memory, "The number you have called has not been recognised." Now blocked!

I have had approx 3 calls from EE and I am almost certain I will not be renewing with them when my contracts expires later in the year. Each call has had a similar style: Poor communication skills; talked at me, did not listen or answer my questions. Like others have said, AO.com trying to sell extra coverage for the appliance. I d seen here that s what they were doing but answered in the end as I was worried they might not deliver it if I didn t, since people had said they asked delivery details. In the end they just repeated what the website had said already regarding the delivery, and then pushed quite hard on the extra coverage, which I really didn t want - I bought from AO.com to save money, not spend extra!
