NEVER give ANY information to a caller, no matter how convincing they sound.

I ve had numerous calls(>25)claiming to be from"Talk Talk". Most calls are a few sec s of silence,followed by automated voice saying "Thank You" & call ends. Others advise choosing keypad options;I ve not tried,in case it s a premium rate/International call back scam. Sometimes caller speaks in broken English,citing:"My Talk Talk account"as reason for call. Repeated requests to remove my number, in compliance with Data Protection Act are ignored.

Called asking for my pension details saying they need to send out some new documents. Felt uncomfortable half way through call & asked them to confirm my scheme number. He couldn t & said their info appears to be wrong. He was very friendly & polite but nothing rang true. He said he will confirm his info & ring me right back. He didn t but I rang my pension company who confirmed it was nothing to do with them & they ll investigate. Fraudsters, do not tell them anything!

Usual Indian accented person calling me from Talktalk to save my computer from a major disaster. They have my telephone number, IP address and supplier (Thanks a bunch Talktalk your security is rubbish) They rabbit on about my router being compromised insist that I sit at my computer where they will talk me through the problems. Calling about compensation that could be available for a minor motoring incident I ve been involved with recently. They used my maiden name which was a red flag to start with, and I ve not been in any incident. Lady tried to persist with the call after I politely tried to end it so hung up instead. Looking back at call history there s been 6 missed calls from this number in last week with no messages left. Number now added to blocked list.

01212011739 keeps calling for our MD and stating it is to do with a financial matter and also mentioned HMRC, got shirty when I said this was a scam of some sort and she said she would find another way of contacting him then slammed phone down as I wouldnt put her through

Received an email from a Tony Render asking me to call this number to set up an interview - aparantly its a 50p a minute call that keeps you on hold for 10-15 minutes. Phone pretending to be from E-on wanting to know who our new supplier was, but as E-on already know that he was clearly a scammer just fishing for information. A very aggressive foreign man who thought if he repeatedly demand information we would give it to him. Googled his number whilst he was on the line and numerous reports of him being a scammer and not E-on. We hung up on him three times, and told him not to call back, he then tried one of our other phone lines where he was told not to call us again, h

14 Oct 2021 - Caller pretended to be a friend of my daughter when she had asked for her and I told her she no longer lived here. She said her name was Sarah and claimed she had pressed the wrong number in her list of contacts. Seemed very plausible as daughter has a Friend named Sarah, but transpires they haven't been in touch for years. Reply

This number has called me fives times today starting at 10am! As the day has gone on the calls have been approx. an hour apart. No message left but they seem pretty keen to get hold of me. Any ideas anyone? I do not answer numbers I do not know.
