SCAM This person rang me 3 times one after the other. He said he was from an investment firm and I stopped his spiel as soon as I heard that. He became extreme belligerent when I told him I wasn't interested and to remove my details from his list. I ended the call and he had the audacity to keep ringing me even though I kept rejecting his call!

SCAM Male. Asian accent pretending to be from O2 offering a 75% discount on my contract as long as I give him details there and then. I'm not with O2 nor do I have a Contract. When informed Him of this. He said Vodafone have the same deal and I'd be contacted. He met my blocked list.
SCAM Said from Vodafone upgrade team and could offer me a great deal on a upgrade. Asked them to email me the details so I could check it over. Email looked dodgy, address wasn't a Vodafone one. Forwarded onto Vodafone and they said not a genuine email from them. Called me back again and got angry when I challenged them on what Vodafone said. Told me I'd get another email to prove they were genuine within 30mins, still waiting a few hours later. Four calls today alone, all from different numbers!

Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. When I checked 10 minutes ago, *this* service said there had been 16 searches in the last 10 days. Now when I've returned 20 minutes later it says there have been 20 searches. I received calls from people saying your number is showing up on their caller ID, it's likely that that my number has been spoofed by scammers. I don't have a business or anything like that. Received a call from bank security team (doesn't happen) alleging fraudulent card use. Nothing showing in my online banking. FURTHERMORE At no point on the recorded call did the give my banks name. BEWARE

Received a call stating from British Gas with regards to my boiler cover. Advised that I will be covered for £22 a month and asked for my sortcode and account number. Scam. tried to sell something, then when I said not interested, asking where they got my name and number, they changed what they were selling, becoming forceful. I kindly said that they should remove my details from their list and not call again, suggesting they were acting illegally, because I am listed in the TPS, then they slammed the phone down on me.
