Right. Had quite an issue with this one. Picked up first time and it hung up. Second time I picked up it was an indian sounding bloke who said he will rape me if I dont accept his phone contract (?????)
As usual a fake number used by the annoying pests. Asian voice as is normally the case.
Asian person saying will only take a minute just wanted to ask a few questions. normally i just hang up but for some reason i didnt. asked me what my brand of tv is, how much i spend on holidays, who my electricty is with, my income bracket where i would go on holiday. dont think they are con artist, just gathering data so more companies can send you spam...should have hung up! waste of 2 minutes
Keep getting calls from this number to my mobile, no message is left. Don't know who it is so I think it is intrusive

Phone pretending to be from E-on wanting to know who our new supplier was, but as E-on already know that he was clearly a scammer just fishing for information. A very aggressive foreign man who thought if he repeatedly demand information we would give it to him. Call supposed to be Amazon telling me someone had just spent £700 but they put a hold on it because they thought it was suspicious, it requested that I should press 1 for info. This was an automated call so I politely(not) said go away and I hung up

The ombudsman have no reason to be directly looking at my bank account without the bank ever contacting me. Strange behaviour. Wanted me to spell my details back to him as if data gathering.

now that i have seen the address and the location of the address, i believe this could be an agent for a charity that provides work for the blind. they then sell the products they make and pack via calls and delivery(very good stuff!)so i think it is legit. further i dont think they engage in cold calls only to people who have dealt with them before.

Calling about compensation that could be available for a minor motoring incident I ve been involved with recently. They used my maiden name which was a red flag to start with, and I ve not been in any incident. Lady tried to persist with the call after I politely tried to end it so hung up instead. Looking back at call history there s been 6 missed calls from this number in last week with no messages left. Number now added to blocked list.
