They knew my name and said they'd been authorised by the government to handle a legal case against FX Trading. I knew it was a fraudulent phonecall when they wanted ID and statements from me. My phone picked up that they were calling from Rome but the man clearly said he was working for the UK government. Very dodgy!
Caller didn't speak but is staying on the line for a long time. Not sure how this amounts to a scam - just a waste of lots of people's time I think.

A foreign woman pretending to be from Curries PC World. I straight away asked her what she was selling and she hung up.

Calling from housing disrepair. They had my full name not sure where from but I own my own house and have seen previous reports this is to do with council properties. They keep calling every day from a different number. Blocked each one.
This number is DANGEROUS! My son with special needs got a barrage of calls from this number spoofing police calls that he got involved in a car accident on the M5, another call saying that they are bailiffs saying that they owe them £1,600.
