Scam caller from an Indian call centre claiming to be from Vodafone

Called my 86 yo mum claiming to be "the company that services your domestic appliances and boiler", I interrupted the call, asked if they were British Gas, on being told no the caller was invited to go forth and multiply.

SCAM user uses a supposed 'Blocker' when using website, came up when I was looking for a local Chinese takeaway. Said my PC was attacked and I needed to phone this number. Closed down Google and it disappeared. DO NOT PHONE NUMBER. They will attempt to take money off you under false pretences

Fraud SCAM Called me pretending to be from Amazon saying that someone had ordered an iPhone on my account. They then managed to trigger the Amazon reset password text message and pressured me to give me that code to them, presumably so that they could take control of my Amazon account. Got quite upset when I refused to give them the code

SCAM Although I use Adblock Plus, some websites insist I turn this off and I'm guessing thanks to this my Firefox navigated to a bad page PRETENDING to be Windows Defender finding a Trojan (after the first click inside the browser window it maximises the browser making this look more realistic) and requiring me to call this very phone number. Automated message that went to voicemail, American female accent pretending to be Visa. Said something about a £300 payment to Amazon and another larger one £1500? to overseas. Wanted the receiver to press certain numbers on the handset to confirm etc;

It reported to be from Santander fraud department, asking to reply y or n to a text about an attempted purchase at Argos. Blocked the number and reported it as SPAM.

Got a call from this number and when i answered it the phone went dead , looks like on these scam sites who use a computer to call numbers and if you answer they keep a record and then later on call you to sell you insurance etc.

Seemed like a scam to me. Automatic message said there were suspicious charges againt my bank account and invited me to press 1 to cancel these charges. Banks don't work like that.

SCAM Amazon Iphone scam, told me i'd ordered one even after i told her i hadn't

just called by this number. A robot call, falsely claiming my (credit card?) account has been charged twice and asking me to call another number. I immediately hung up and checked my account. No such sums had been taken. The large number of calls made from this number appears to confirm a scam attempt.
