The text message received from this number on 14/02/2024 at 12:13 simply read: "Got it (thumbs up emoji)" No other content and this number is not in my phone book nor was I expecting any messages like this from anyone. I was caught out by this today. They claimed to be calling from O2. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. The person said they where from 118 live directory, he asked for the business owner which I am not so I said no I’m afraid he won’t be in untill friday at that point he hung up. I did 14713 and called back to get an automated American voice saying it was utility direct. Scam.

Asked about the purpose of the call, she said it is to update my records. Informed her that is very interesting as the UK government does not issue "vaccine certificates" as it is all held in the NHS app. She then terminated the call. Suspected scam call beware.
