I got a robotic call from HMRC claiming that I am guilty of tax fraud. On the HMRC website, this is listed as an example scam call.
I m getting numerous calls and texts everyday for weeks.
Automated call & message. I don t listen to the entire message, so can t say who they are or what they do. Calling every day despite being registered with the telephone preference service and being ex-directory!
SPAM - answered the call however the line went dead.

they called me, a sweet lady stated that my loan had been approved and took my bank and card details. They took out 50 gbp out of my bank and did not inform me as well. From the voice i could make out that she was an Asian. They have not refunded my money and never answer the call.

My son with special needs got a barrage of calls from this number spoofing police calls that he got involved in a car accident on the M5, another call saying that they are bailiffs saying that they owe them £1,600. Incident reported to the police already. Stay away from this number. They hide using this number so you won’t see their phone number.

The call purported to have come from HMRC and instructed that I should press1 to stop court action from being taken against me for taxes owed. Firstly, I do not owe any taxes. Google didn't find it (but found a few close variations from Southern American countries, not anyone I know then, (we're in UK). This number doesn't ring when dialed on landline or my mobile, (but rang me a good 1/2 minutes)? I checked & checked it again. - How's it possible? - Obviously some kind of "con", "scam" ?!
