Had calls from these clowns for years, despite being ex-directory, registered with TPS, and despite asking them, every single time, to remove me from their lists.
callcentre background noise, called about a car accident. I asked how they got my details, they said from "insurance". I asked which insurance company and was told to "shut up" before they hung up. Dialled 1471 and get the number, tried to call it back and get engaged tone
Just had a call to my landline from this number, saying it was a survey about loft installation and asking me to confirm a few details , which I refused to do, and then he said its nothing to worry about, I said I wasn't worried about anything otherwise it would be me ringing up someone, not them ringing me. I let him babble on a bit more and then said let me stop you there, it's my Husband you need to talk to not me and he's not in, so he just hung up. I would say this was a SCAM.
The same for us - scammers. Luckily we have BT Guardian so have just added these time wasters to my blocked list so they can't get through again!

This caller called at 7:24 am, I was asleep after a very late night I do not speak nicely to what I believed was a scammer, I told them don’t ring this number at this hour of the day, asshole! Then hung up. Apparently this number seems to be known for scam calls!
Call center. I am only using the option of 'Call centre' as there is no option for describing someone uninvitedly touting for business for the commission that s/he will receive for selling funeral plans. A better description might be 'Spiv'.

This number calls me everyday at varied times, and has done so for several months. Occasionally, I answer, always with the intention of asking them to stop calling me, but there is only silence at the other end of the line for a few seconds before they terminate the call. Safe number Sky VIP. I ended up with a much better deal. The number 0800 862 0818 is genuine, but everyone should always consider if a number is spoofed - try to get them to tell you something about you that they know already. Eg if they ask for your email, tell them a fake one and see if they know it's fake. If they don't, they may not be genuine.
