SCAM Pretending to be my daughter asking (in a text pretending the phone was damaged so they couldn’t speak to me) for £1220 urgent into her account. I refused and told them no. They persisted “I’m not lying”. I didn’t believe them. I called my daughter who clarified it was not her.
Tclaimed to be paypal, all seemed fine untill he asked too many personal questions and then asked for the 3 digits from the back of my card, at which point the alarm bells went off. I cancelled the call

Miss No idea who. Not Crewe phone number. Is Crewe area code, spoofed number. I ignored call. No voice message left. No text or email received either. This number called me today. Didn't recognise it so didn't answer. If it's a "real" call they will leave a voicemail. They didn't, therefore more than likely to be some kind of scam. Number blocked, suggest you do the same!

Silent call rang my mobile on WhatsApp. A picture of a young woman with long dark hair appeared - don’t know her, no name. Rang x2 but she hung up after it rang a couple of times. I’ve blocked the number. Sure it’s a scam of some type.

Tried to get security information from me. I asked for a direct phone number and he hung up. I called the credit card company and they said no one had called.
