Repeated calls from Amazon Prime informing that they are taking a repeat fee from my account. (I'm not an Amazon member or customer). The number they use is very close to my own mobile number. They have used, today and 3 days ago, 07444368541 & 07444368566.
When answer phone clicked in the phone was put down. Left no message.
I was caught out by this today. They claimed to be calling from O2. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. its a scam even if it is 118 because they sell your data at no gain to you. If its unsolicited hang up because I have never seen any unsolicited call from an unknown person being to your benefit - normally its quite the opposite.
