Auto message stating call from 'bank fraud dept' saying 'your card has been used for £300 via amazon & £1000 for an international transfer. No bank name, no card type given. Sounds like a scam as asked to press option 1 to cancel or option 3 to speak to someone.

SCAM Tried to order 2 mobiles in my name.

This number is clearly a scam stating taxes are owed & legal proceedings will be started. 1. The terminology (& robotic voice) is American. 2. HMRC will never phone you. They will message you to go to your on-line account.

Fraud automated saying my bank was compromised £600 going abroad if it wasn't me to press 1 but it never gave a bank name it just said "your bank account" so i hung up and blocked

The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. Fraud Automated voice tells me I've got a suspect payment for £900 about to be cleared from my visa card. This is a clinic, we don't have a visa card. It asks you to press 1 immediately. Please don't, it'll encourage them.

SPAM I got a call from this number. It rang 3 times and stopped. I missed it so rang back and a recorded voice said "this number is not available" Looks like a scam to me. Beware

Fraud Pretended to be from Amazon, said there was a hacker in my system and wanted access - refused.

Automated call saying there is a £79 charge outstanding on my Amazon account push reply to remove this charge & cancel the payment. Obviously I just hung up as it’s a very well known scan & if reply had been selected it would most likely have connected to a high premium number

Claimed to be calling from "credit investigation unit" and government had shortlisted me to write off 90% of my debt. I got him to stop, then said I was recording the call and began quizzing him. The story he spun twisted and flipped, wouldn't answer how/why the government knows what my credit status is, or who compiles the shortlist, or where his employer got it. I repeated that I was recording the call and suggested it was a scam. He swore and cut off the call.

Phoned to say they wanted to refund an amount incorrectly taken from my bank account for my washing machine insurance.

Fraud RANG US FROM THIS PHONE NUMBER, WHICH WE WERE NOT EXPECTING. CLEARLY MENTIONED INFORMATION WHICH WAS WRONG AND NOT CORRECT. WE WILL NOT BE ANSWERING THE PHONE TO THIS NUMBER EITHER.

SCAM robo call saying there had been possible fraudulent activity on my bank account. When I questioned them they refused to say what bank it was and got angry. So I called them out as the scammer they are. According to the scammer all UK people are idiots. I reported it to action fraud.

SCAM Came up as Congleton on my number . Said he was ringing fro Three ( although might not be as his English was awful ) talked about a £40 voucher bla bla bla . Just said no thanks and terminated the call . Dam nuisance these type of calls .

They claimed to be BT but never gave a caller name and had identified potential security issues with my BT Internet. Sent me a code number to "prove" they were genuine but it didn't feel right and when I said I thought they were scammers, caller became a bit aggressive.
