Bad line and almost unintelligible guy at the other end. Took me 3 goes before I heard the words PPI, then told him I was at work and I hung up. The guy didn t even seem to know what he was saying when I asked what he was calling for. Script based nuisances.

Phone rings, 2 seconds of sounds of a busy call centre, then a rather posh Indian says "Mr.M#####k?" I say "Yes" He continues, "My name is (bogus Indian name) this is the call blocking service..." and I hung up. I don't know why I bother answering the phone nowadays, 99% of the time it is a scam. I have been called on numerous occasions throughout the day from the number originating from Doncaster. I have no connection with Doncaster personally or work related. I have checked all policies held and none correspond. Probably easier to answer the call to confirm but this has the feel of a scam/cold call.

It's hard to believe that is still happening, and it's even harder to believe that nothing has been done to stop these types of calls in today's wealth of technology, these people should think about the harm and misery they cause but of course when you are a scammer it's the last thing you think of isn't it.
