Scam. Pretended to be O2 and randomly offered me 30% off my bill. He had no information on me, very unprofessional, wanted me to confirm all my personal data. When I suggested this was a scam he hung up on me.

The call was from a VISA fraud checking unit. However the number was the fax number for a garage in Penkridge, Stafford that closed down some time ago. Clearly scammers have cloned the number.

Call center Asked for my wife by name, renewal due on TV care package I challenged, said it was a scam because my wife left all TV to me and we have never had cover. I asked for proof and was assured they had proof, when I said my wife had died years ago they could not progress their payment request, as any debt had ceased. I should have progressed further before reporting my wife had died.
Scam. The line was so bad I couldn't even make out who they were pretending to be.

Calling on personal cell number about 'IT services' and domains I have registered - through my business. Challenged them on ignoring TPS, and fact that they have obtained data illegally since all domain registration detail is now 'redacted' - caller hung up. Sounded like a VOIP line, big call centre by the level of noise in the background and most likely Indian sub-continent from accent of caller.

I rang the number back it’s about PPI saying I had money back in 2019 I told the lady I didn’t receive any money and to remove me from their database She started to raise her voice asking why would they do that when I had received money! Asked for acc details, put phone down and immediately rang my appliance insurance company and they said they havent been taken over by smart insurance. I felt relieved that i hadnt given out my bank details but its shocking how lnowledgeable they were and the information they currency had on it. Blocked immediately. Pls beware and be careful.
