I missed the call they rang at 7:17pm who rings at this hour? ????♂️ it's most likely spam as Google doesn't show that it belongs to any reputable company. Also no idea how they have my number so I'll just block it for that reason alone.

I believe this to be a banking scam as the automated called said they were from Bank Security - but no bank name given. They told me that a charge for £700 had been made by Amazon (I no longer have an account there) and an international charge of £2,000. I was asked to press a number to speak to security!!!
Fifteen calls from this and similar numbers in a week. It's getting annoying now.

This is around the 10th call in a month using same script from different numbers (all now blocked). Had a Messenger response from someone who called himself Gary then Gaz in response to Facebook Market Place advert. Further message asked me to message him on 07984645686 as his iPad was playing up. I replied that I did not have my phone and could only use Messenger. He sent 3 further messages without any problem finally saying that he would call and collect the item next Tuesday and pay cash, and what is my address. I ended the conversation there.

Was called up by a scam callcenter that told me that there was a problem with a payout from my life insurance, They had my name and phone number, but everything else was very clearly not legit so not the most professional scam I've seen.

A man called saying he was calling on behalf of O2, saying under O2 I was eligible for a reduced business contract. When I challenged him that he was not calling from O2 he then said he was calling from a company called YourMobile.com which 'works with an O2 platinum business partner' (Plan.com). I said he should know my contract with O2 if he was phoning on behalf of any area of O2 and then he hung up. This is a scam

This number was the one that appeared on my phone as having called me, after receiving an automated call supposedly from Visa, informing me of suspicious transactions on my account and to press 1 to accept or 2 if I did not. Later I phoned this number, using 141 beforehand so they would not know who called, and a man answered...just an "ordinary sounding guy", no mention of an office/bank/or fraud squad. I asked to speak to a random person and apologised for dailling a "wrong number"..
