Fraud. Said I had two pending transactions on my Lloyds account, asking for personal details before I ended the call. Confirmed with Lloyds there were no problems or pending transactions on my account.
They cold-call phoned me about renewal of insurance on kitchen white goods. They needed some banking details to alter the payment paperwork because they were giving me a no-claims discount. Knew enough about me to make this plausible. I 'needed to go to an appointment' [actually true] so I had to ask them to phone back tomorrow - which they were readily willing to do. Received a call stating from British Gas with regards to my boiler cover. Advised that I will be covered for £22 a month and asked for my sortcode and account number. They also advised that if I had any issues with my boiler I should call the freephone number which was 01202 138 752. When I advised them that I work for British Gas Services which I do they hung up. I tried the "freephone" number but this related to another company which has nothing to do with boilers or anything to do with British
This number rang on 09/03/23. When I answered, the call just ended. This number rang again on 10/03/23. The caller had a South Asian accent, knew my name and enquired about the car accident I'd had. I responded that this would be the car accident I hadn't had and told him to stop wasting my time. There was a fairly insincere 'apology' that he'd been given the incorrect details.
Missed call this number has called me 3 times. I didn't answer as I am cautious of scams. No voicemail left. I am in Ireland

This number is a scam. My mum received a message from this number purporting to be me saying that I had broken my phone and could she use another number to message me on Whatsapp. This is the "Mum I've lost my phone scam" and this number cannot be trusted.
Fraud .+44-120-493-6904. Exactly the same as previously reported by Dave below. This is a Fraud. Avoid at all costs !
Called multiple times and at stupid hours. Midnight I received 3 missed calls and a voicemail which was just music playing, whereas the voicemail left in the day he was a "recruiter". Do not answer.
Probably Indian fraud callers, keep calling with various random numbers and do not seem to believe I am not the person they have on their database - which must be quite old.

Scammer with automated message stating it was my bank.. Claimed a transfer of £600 had been blocked to western union and asking me to dial 1 to connect to an operator. I hung up as I don't even have £600 and checked with my online banking for any alerts. Nothing there.
It is a scam number that hides itself as an Amazon extesion. Don't answer or don't press any number extensions it promotes.
Called with message about unauthorized payment from my debit card, if it wasn't you press 1. I did out of interest. Spoke with a man with Indian accent. He knew my name and surname which is highly unnerving. He said a payment of £900 and something pounds had been taken from my debit card. I replied "oh no, it wasn't me, can you help me?". He said yes, he needed some information. I asked which bank debit card? He said Amazon then hung up. Seriously!

Automated message supposedly 'Bank Security' regarding two recent payments made by card....1 to Amazon for £300 and the 2nd an International payment of £1000+. The usual crap is then given re pressing 1 or 2 depending on how you want to proceed. Complete load of rubbish. I get regular calls from a variety of numbers all exactly the same. They want shooting! Bloody nuisance.
