A female speaking chinese or mandarin, no idea what was being said. May have mentioned UPS which co-incidentally I've been receiving scam emails recently purporting to be from them about an outstanding delivery which I can categorically state I am NOT awaiting. This is likely to be connected. SCAM every day in my opinion.

Text message claiming to be Santander, claiming that there is some suspicious payment attempts on your current account. Said they’d attempt to call shortly ti talk to you about it in on a number, it was like the banks number, its not the actual banks number its different by 1 digit.
07944341914 called 27 Jan 23 at 12:28 hrs. Female recorded voice claimed to be calling from Amazon about an order I'd placed for an iPhone......which I had not. The presentation and topic was very similar to a scam call a few years ago, Hung up.

If this is as others say ..Everest. that company went bust in 2019 and is now called everest 2020. They still owe or Chapel more than 4k deposit back. I have had this number blocked since last year because it kept ringing and there was nothing there . It just came up again as a blocked call today.. and yesterday. It was not ghe number I had as a contact for Everest or Everest 2020.

Number came up as spam on my mobile phone so I didn't actually answer any of the 3 calls I have had so far today and this is the first time I have been called by it. Indications on other sites are that this is Opus credit (aka New Day) and it makes sense since I have an account with them and I missed a payment with them yesterday.

Got a call off this number saying they work for council repair team and they say av got alot of repairs to be done and to be honest I don't live a a council house it's private, he put phone done. Claims to be from EE promotions, I thought it was true as I did recently ask EE to call me as I was in the realm for an upgrade. Got a call from this number claiming to be from my Mobile Phone provider offering an upgrade. As I am on a PAYG tariff (satisfactory for my needs) I politely declined their offer and hung-up. If and when I want or need an upgrade I will decide which Company to approach.

06-09-2022 rang today, when I picked phone up and said hello they just hung up without saying anything. We live in the Leeds LS25 area.
Fraud - foreign-sounding caller purporting to be from VISA Security. When I asked which VISA account the suspect transaction was on the caller swore and hung up. I don't believe that is VISA policy or that VISA fraud investigation works from a questionable domestic number appearing to be in Stafford.
Phone (mobile) on showing "Potential Fraud" never bothered to answer, it's now blocked.

Lady asked if i want to authorize or cancel Amazon purchase of a gift card £300.00 She asked about BOB and Full name but when I asked to give me my name she said that she approves the purchase because i refused to give my name and hanged up. SCAM Got a call just now from 020 8089 6127 by a South African sounding woman, saying she was from a company called Teabag, and she went on the say I understand you have defrauded out of money on-line and want to get it back. When I asked how she got my name and phone number she hung up.
Other "who called me" sites identify this number as Spam.
SCAM - twice had calls from this number with a recorded message saying I had been charged £79.99 by Amazon for Amazon Prime Services - hung up and contacted Amazon - call is not from them.
Saying I was under investigation for tax evasion and an arrest warrant had been issued press 1 for details
