I received a call 2 days ago from 07477423611 I do not answer if I dont know I heard the message that was left from this number and it was the end of a recorded voice saying something like quot if you do not take action we will complain to the authoritiesquot So it is a scam Today I got a call from a similar number 07477853867 I blocked it immediately

Claimed to be from the "promotional department" of my network provider O2 and they can offer me a 40% discount on my bill. When I asked how much this would be, they said they do not have my contract in front of them and "that we work with all the major networks". I am neither with o2 or have a contract....SCAM Fraud

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. Fraud - Text advising me to contact this number and giving a OTP to complete a purchase from Cost-Co. Lots of capital letters, clearly designed to arouse anxiety to encourage a call back. Clearly aimed at the elderly IMO.
