This number really is the fraud dept of Smile Bank / The Co-Operative Bank, but there is no way that I would reply to texts of this nature - the fact that a major retail bank is sending out texts like this from an unadvertised mobile number is disgraceful. I called my bank on their advertised Customer Services number, and they said that the text was from them. (Their hold music told me to be wary of fraud - such irony!!)
First started by asking for me, I asked who wanted to to me, reply was a cheque for £2.500 pounds was waiting for me, ( I knew it was a scam) I said if I was owed money just send it to me, reply they needed conformation of address, I said who ever owes me

To fix, open task manager , cnt alt delete, then choose task manager, Then find prog, right click, choose end task. This will close the browser but will be ok to open it again and nasty scam has gone !!! Good luck

I am so angry at these people. I am away on business and my phone is constantly ringing in meetings. I am out of the country and I think its urgent. When I asked why he was calling he told me it was about my accident, so I very sarcastically asked when this accident was going to happen. He didn't pick up on the fact I was expecting some date in the future as I know I haven't had an accident, he told me it was the one in 2015.
