Called asking for my pension details saying they need to send out some new documents. Felt uncomfortable half way through call & asked them to confirm my scheme number. He couldn t & said their info appears to be wrong. He was very friendly & polite but nothing rang true. He said he will confirm his info & ring me right back. He didn t but I rang my pension company who confirmed it was nothing to do with them & they ll investigate. Fraudsters, do not tell them anything!

I was called to day and the man asked to speak to my husband. I asked him what about and he said that it was about his HSBC holdings which needed assessing. I told him he couldn t be from HSBC as my husband died this year and HSBC were well aware of this. He apologised quickly and rang off.

Then asked me what I use the computer for to which I pointed out must be gaming as she had said. Asked me to find Ctrl key and asked me which key I could see next to it. Now quizzing me on the QWERTY keyboard layout is a bit of a bore so told her to go forth and multiply. She quickly hung up when I pointed out I m coming for her.

Silence on landline then very difficult to understand speech which I think said "you have a problem with.." I said I beg your pardon? and their phone went down. Suggests scammer tho unusual on uk 01 landline number.
