Recorded message claiming to be from Bank Security about two large with drawls from my accounts. I have had the same call but from different numbers in the recent past. Complete and utter SCAM.
Tried to convince me of life insurance. The fact the number comes up as potential spam on the modern phone should be encouragement enough to upgrade just for this fact. Block it.

2022.07.18 at 13:37 my phone showed ‘International’, with the number 0049 1375 381293, which looks like it came from Germany (0049), but with a local code that was the same as my own ((0)1375)... anyway a recorded message claimed it was from 'bank security', that two large withdrawals had been made on my account, inc one from Amazon, and that I needed to press a particular number to speak to them. This is obviously a SCAM and an ATTEMPTED FRAUD..

Man with Indian accent saying he was calling in behalf of government regarding unsecured debt. When I told Him I was ending the call he said he had two more protocol questions. I told him I was terminating the call and hung up.

They rang saying it was the Inland Revenue and that I had ignored letters and owed money and to press 1 to speak to their operative which I did not do. I blocked the number. I am a pensioner with heart problems so not impressed. It was a recorded message which sounded robotic - hope this helps and hope you can take it down. I've reported it to Inland Revenue via their on line form.

Daughter answered phone at 17.32. Caller asked for her mother. Told I was out. Said to be from bank about my card being used for payment in London. Caller gave my address and asked for confirmation. Suspected Scam I recieved a message from this number shortly after a private number phone call stating i had hit their car and left a message with my phone number (i havent hit any cars nor left my number) I then received text message asking why i hit their Car followed by another asking for my insurance details.
