Missed call I didn’t recognise the number so didn’t answer it. On looking it up I see that it’s rated as a dangerous number so I blocked it

Person called saying from BT and needing to check my internet connection. Wanted to know which platform I used for various activities. When I suggested that he could find this out by looking at their system the caller told me to "Go to hell" and dropped the line.

Caller pretends to be from BT alledging illegal access to your broadband. Asks you to download a website Anydesk.com. This shows you suppossedly all the users who are accessing you broadband. Then they ask you to check your bank account and lo and behold someone has taken money from your account. In the next few minutes they show you that you have been credited with a large amount of money. This is to say thank you for helping them track scammers. Rang up asking if Id just bought an iphone, and then asked for a one time password that had just been texted to me from Amazon so that they could cancel the transaction. Blocked the scammer.

Fraud I enquired about a pension transfer from the Netherlands to UK and cot contacted by Online Mortgage Advisor (OMA) dsiplaying this nr. I have not been further contacted and I can't get in contact with OMA either as the nr is not callable, which is a breach with OFCOM regulations.

Number 02071124802 phoned me and said they was from start up loans. www.startuploans.co.uk and wanted me to transfer them £58 for the loan to be secured under the insurance. They provided me with a person called Jamin bank details which straight away is strange for a company. I was told it was the managers details as money transferred to the company always bounces back. SCAM Definitely used for call pretending to be from BT about broadband and IP address. Checked with BT and they hadn’t called.

I answered a call from this number. The person claimed to be called James from a company called Relief Energy. So far as I can determine, there is no official record of any such company, making me certain that it is a scam.
