SCAM. An Asian sounding man who called himself Simon called me to say my washing machine warranty had run out. Seeing as our washing machine is about 15 or more years old I do not doubt it. I told him not to try and scam me as I had had these sort of calls before, and hung up. I have since blocked the number.

Scam caller claiming to be from Virgin. The call was made by an official sounding call centre (the woman sounded Indian). She claimed that there has been suspicious activity from unknown IP addresses using my account and that it was being used for criminal activity and that she needed to help me protect my firewalls etc. I immediately became suspicious as I'd heard of such calls being made and told her that I'd call Virgin directly to resolve any issues. How do I know this was a scam? 1) I am not even w

Just got a call from this number and they are rude, not telling me who they are and just starting to talk. Dangerous people and calls about blockchain and crypto should have an account on their portal.

Called by this number, person knew my name then started saying weird things about my mother's body.

Silence then hung up

Lady claimed that unknown to myself I have a bitcoin account open in my name with 4.5 bitcoin in it. All I needed to do was prove my identity and she would kindly sort out how I could activate the account and claim my money. It had apparently been opened accidentally when I had clicked on an advertising link. Isn't that just too good to be true?

SCAM - Foreigner speaking bad english saying they are from Virgin Media and that I have a problem with my router. Asking to ue the Windows + R key to run eventvwr. Do not do this or give any information. Kept on asking the caller to state my Virgin Media account number. they eventually put the phone down on me :D

Male voice, indian accent. All I could understand was "I am calling you today......... mam". I asked him to speak slowly and clearly, he repeated the garbled content and I told him I didnt understand and needed him to speak slowly. He hung up. Sounded like a typical phishing call. Sad he hung up, I like to play them along for a while just for my entertainment and waste their time.
