Seem to have now blocked 0843 980 12xx where xx so far is anywhere between 01 to 51 - 47 just the latest. Last time i answered it from one of these numbers there was nobody there. Wonder if phone numbers of the call centre staff are also on their autocall list.

We get 2 or sometimes 3 calls per day from this number. The call is a recorded message about "government funded boilers etc". At the end of the message it says "Press 2 to speak to one of our advisers. But when I do this it only saves the message to my voice mail. How can I get these nuisance calls stopped? Someone please advise. Many thanks.

I pressed 1 and a lady with an Indian accent answered saying she was HMRC and "how can I help you?" Call center Automated call claiming I had suspicious activity on my bank account but went to an agent claiming they were from the FCA. The ombudsman have no reason to be directly looking at my bank account without the bank ever contacting me. Strange behaviour. Wanted me to spell my details back to him as if data gathering.

I ve had numerous calls(>25)claiming to be from"Talk Talk". Most calls are a few sec s of silence,followed by automated voice saying "Thank You" & call ends. Others advise choosing keypad options;I ve not tried,in case it s a premium rate/International call back scam. Sometimes caller speaks in broken English,citing:"My Talk Talk account"as reason for call. Repeated requests to remove my number, in compliance with Data Protection Act are ignored.
