SCAM Received a call from 01983 882 832 claiming to be a bank checking on two transactions they regarded as suspicious. Told to press 1 if ok and 2 to speak to someone. I hung up. Banks do not do this!

Man calling about a medical pendant. May have been harmless but he was very evasive when I asked where he got my phone number (we're not on any lists and don't get cold-called much). He seemed to be reading from a script and looking up the answers, as there were long gaps between my asking a question and his reply. I told him I was going to hang up and did so.

Received a call from this number, from someone saying they where a company called Stay Solutions that organised tours, and where looking for partners to link up with for accommodation for their tour clients. They didn't know my name, they didn't have my email address. I am a bed and breakfast, and they said it was for a group of 5. I can only take 4 persons in a booking. I was suspicious, and I think they are using this telephone number illegally, its a scam beware!

Purport to be transaction investigators for TSB, and for an hour went over and over questioning, checking transactions, cancelling card, and then working very hard to persuade that account needed closing and reopening with a safe sort code and account number, asking about standing orders and Direct debits!!! SCAM He was called Paul, tried to tell my daughter who is 15 years old that she is in debt, when she didn't understand he started saying very vile disgusting inappropriate sexual degrading things to her.
