Constantly calling me. Won't specify who they are and why they are calling. Just want to stay on the phone and waste your time
Fraud: Called me with an automated voice message in a threatening way saying that my phone number was involved in tax fraud. Had to press a number to be directed to what I assumed would be a scammer who would try to take my personal information.
Fraud wanting to make an appointment saying my loft insulation needed checking as it could be damp or mouldy and it might need replacing. Very persistent. I blocked the number and hung up on him
This caller phoned me in the last 5 minutes and spoke so indistinctly that I terminated the call. Judging by other comments I m also suspicious of this caller.
I received the number 01223933956 this morning. Claimed to be a Sean with a very heavy Indian sub-continent accent, from BT Outreach claiming there were problems with my internet. I engaged with him, to spin him along so he would have less time with more vulnerable people but when he realised what I was doing he became very abusive.
