Caller (in a thick Indian / Asian accent) asked by name for a previous user of my number. When I said I wasn t that person and enquired as to who he was, he got very abusive and terminated the call. Almost certainly a scam of some sorts.

Nuisance caller. I will prosecute this person for cold calls. Sometimes there is no answer when I lift the receiver; sometimes a female voice says "hello" and hangs up. They may have set the number so that when people dial "1471" the nuisance caller is still on the line and instead of the BT response to 1471 my phone is rigged to dial the caller s number. I am contacting the police with a view to prosecuting the caller for being a pest.

Very rude, aggressive and annoying callers. Similar to most comments above. They ve hung up on me twice now when I ask them what they want. I run my own photography business and they seem to be trying to sell advertising. It seems to be an Oxfordshire number, with very strong Indian and sometimes west African accents. Block and don t trust these people.

Pride Park, 16 St Christopher s Way, Derby DE24 8JY This is the address I found for this company who insists on harassing thousands of us day & night. I did speak to one of their operatives & he was asking a lot of questions which I refused to answer. He wanted to make an appointment for an advisor to visit & reckons I could save £21000 on my mortgage over the next 15 years. Told him if he could pay off my remaining mortgage then I would listen. Silence!!! I tried calling their number back to arrange for

no idea who it is, and when I called back putting 141 in front of the number they never answered it.. in fact someone did and then cut me off before I could speak

This is the HP support number. I had been speaking to them about an issue with my HP laptop, so they did have a legitimate reason to call me a few days ago, but the case had been closed so I chose not to take this call.
