Text message informing me falsely that one of my children has changed the number to this one and asking me to send whatsapp message to this number.
I've had a text message from this number saying "Let's chat on WhatsApp!", with no introduction to say who the message is from.
Fraud On Caller Display, this number looked like a London exchange. On answering, I got a recorded message saying it was something to do with bank security, followed by a message that was intended to frighten. I hung up, and have blocked the number. An effort was made to call the number from both landline and mobile where an answer was given “it has not been possible to connect your call” and “the number you have dialled is incorrect”, respectively. Accent was so thick I could barely understand anything he said, but he wanted my details.
