SCAM / SPAM - Tom from the UK Advisory Innovations Group called saying the loft insulation we've recently had installed has been found to cause condensation & mould problems and offering a free survey. Said he was from an IT company that I had used recently, when I asked where he got my number from overrode my questions saying he had got it from a database and continued saying I had used one of there services recently. Told him my number was on TPF and he replied not interested and it didn t concern him what I was on. Very aggressive male caller refusing to listen. ended up telling him (very rudely) to go away and hung up
They called my mobile and left a message for me to phone with meter readings (even though I sumitted them on-line in last 30 days). They get paid for each reading, without them collecting it. So my energy provider has increased costs(passed onto the customer) to receive something they already have. I ll save costs for me and my provider by submitting on-line.

Answered this tonight after repeated calls, its a PC scam where they get you to look at your event viewer then try to convince you to download software so they can take over your computer.. DO NOT ANSWER. Or... If you do, do what I did, keep them on the phone for 10 mins then tell them you know its a scam!
