Caller who did not identify himself said he wanted to talk to me about my domestic appliances. He did not use my name or say what domestic appliances he wanted to talk about, or why he wanted to talk about them. What sort of weirdo rings strangers and tells the he wants to talk about domestic appliances?

Recorded message telling me my Amazon subscription had gone out of date and they had taken £90 from my account. First time I knew that Amazon had offices so close to my home. Nearest one is Preston
Unsolicited call about fictitious delivery.
Automated call saying two unusual payments form my account (did not say which account!!). Told to press 1 to approve payments or 2 to speak to someone. I hung up and blocked the number.
So Octopus Brokers pretending to be an Energy Company, are selling private details to third parties who want to put lethal equipment in people's homes so they can cut people off when they feel like it. I will report them to the ICO. Section 4(2) of the Fraud Act 2006 covers fraud by abuse of position which the billing company deliberately omit. The are committing fraud as they have no valid contract with anyone. Smart Meters cause health issues and should be banned asap.I blocked the scammer. No consent.

With the sounds of a call centre in the background a lady with a foreign accent said "Hello". I didn't speak (I never respond to call centre calls) and after saying "Hello" a couple of times more she hung up.

When I the call, I called it back as I was expecting a call from another company and thought it might be them. It is an appliance cover company "All Sorted Cover" more than likely somehow got my info from a recent appliance I registered, even though I registered it through D&G for a friend's appliance. SCAM - I had the same call (01970607650 - 11/5/2022, 14:36) as several people before me, medical alert company, entitled to an alert pendant, wanting to ask me questions. I said wait, I wanted to ask him questions, where was he calling from, um...Dorset, then he started his spiel again. So I asked where he got my name from and why he thought I was entitled to a medical pendant, and he hung up. BE VERY CAREFUL - THIS GUY IS PREYING ON VULNERABLE PEOPLE!!!
