daily calls but when I answer they hang up reported as harrassment

Received a couple of calls from this number. It s Vanquis calling about supposed late payments and debt. It s one thing to call if the person actually has debt, but quite another if the person hasn t. What s more, they call at all hours and quite frequently so it s bothering on harassment!

It is payday UK. It will be to discuss any outstanding loan you have/remind you of any upcoming payments. I ignored the call most of the month - finally answered it today and they refused to discuss with me as I would not pass DPA. I went on to live chat on their website whom confirmed the call was from them - I have recommended they add the number they call from to their website as google search shows it as a telepest rather than a genuine call. This number calls at least 4 times a day, I m sick of these calls Most of the time it rings off when I answer. I have blocked it but it still manages to get through!

This number is ao.com. They ring it when you ve placed an order in the pretence of confirming delivery details etc. In fact, their sole purpose is to sell you their costly insurance cover for the items you ve bought. No new information re delivery details is provided, they just repeat your order details. These are unsolicited scripted insurance sales calls and as such a form of harassment. They don t leave a message when they ring so that you ring back and incur the cost of the call. Very shoddy behaviour.

Keep receiving these calls despite the fact that I block the caller??? Lady with possibly Chinese accent but cannot understand what she wants.
