Called, rang off after some muffled sounds in the background. I dialled right back, and the number is NOT RECOGNISED, this is a spoof number and therefore spam or dangerous.

Fraud: Caller claimed to be from Amazon Security, but my phone isn't associated with any Amazon accounts so they're either phishing for passwords or for account information.

Claimed to be from EE offering me an upgrade, either £7 sim only, or £30 unlimited calls/data and an iPhone 14+ for £30, both deals too good to be true! Pushed them to send me the information, got the customer service version of ~what's to think about, just pick one! so I hung up.

Scam call, purporting to be calling from BT with regard to our internet connection. When I suggested to the Indian sounding caller that his call was a scam, he hung up.

SCAM - Misleading and untruthful for customers. They train their staff to convince you to put in your card details then they take payments without permission and claim that you agreed to their "terms and conditions" when you have not. Very shady.

Scam tried to rip my 94 yr old mother off by offering a pendant fortunate she live with us but we weren't there to stop her giving bank details out . Called the number and they put the phone down on us clearly a fraud from a foreign country. Called bank and blocked account from been ripped off by these disgusting evil cretins. Was called by this number early in the morning with an automated message regarding an Amazon Prime subscription I had not renewed and was going to be charged £95 because of this oversight. I could press one number to speak to an adviser and another to contest it. I did neither as it was clearly a scam. Interesting that this was a landline - it makes me wonder if they forgot to press 'number withheld'. Would think this could be investigated
