Phishing - scam call claiming to be HMRC calling about a returned letter. Hung up before any request for action given.

Indian man who claimed to be from EE then claimed to be calling on behalf of all major mobile carriers and listed Virgin, O2, Vodaphone etc, demanded repeatedly my phone bill. Sounded hostile and claimed to be offering a 40% discount. The sound of chatter could be heard in the background. Block this number. The British government really needs to do more to safeguard citizens from whatever fraud they had planned.

Reckon they are from Amazon and put a hold on my account due to a transaction for £700+. Press one to speak to an adviser. Needless to say I hung up.

People find it hard to stay committed again. It’s becoming a difficult thing. Getting information & data you need is quite not a big deal. Sometimes the truth needs to be unveiled by whatsoever means necessary. It’s on a letter that appears to be spam communication about rewards for playing the National Lottery regularly. Name and address on letter. I don’t do the lottery online. So just checking it out.

Pretending to be from O2 and they send a text message to your mobile with a six digit code in, do not give them this code. Hang up and inform O2 immediately.

Call center SCAM Calling from O2 apparently, to give compensation for the bad signal quality. I agreed up until they said they would pass me onto their supervisor to get the compensation in progress. Call was from abroad. Not sure if this is a scam or not.

Interesting many mention Curry’s-Inundated for YEARS with fake curry’s and other services e mails.Plus piggy backing my e mail contacts falsely to try and get me to click on links. Con artist trying to convince me that I buy printer ink from them and they wanted information on all of my printers immediately If I did not give this information the printers would all only work for another an hour then need to be replaced as they will have to send a signal to them to be inactive permanently I know she was lying she was just making stuff up as she went along It is normally the Pakistanis and Cameroonians doing this sort of scam so naturally I was rather surprised to hear that the caller

Someone in a rather busy callcenter saying they're from 3 mobile billing department how can they help me? I said I'm not sure you called me and she hung up immediately. Needs more scammer training that woman. Might also help if I was with 3.
